Jetsam 03:29
I hope somebody on this airplane’s talking to God because I lost touch, it would be impolite to show up asking favors after all this time I hope somebody at this party feels like a dime in their low-rise jeans, I don’t feel good in mine but I’m gonna keep dancing like it’s ‘99. I just want your love (I really wish that I could say a prayer right now) I just want your love (I really wish that I could say a prayer right now) God, you make me nervous You do it on purpose I don’t believe in angels but they’re in the numbers all the time I hope somebody out there feels like they have finally got it right Struck a nice lyrical density Got the high without the intensity I just want your love (I really wish that I could say a prayer right now) I just want your love (I really wish that I could say a prayer right now) God, you make me nervous You do it on purpose I wish I were a little more readable Little bit less esoteric, more breedable I wish I looked good in my low-rise jeans I wish I looked good in my low-rise jeans I don’t believe in god but I think that he’s a Gemini Everyone I’ve loved has had a name from the Bible I’m jealous of the dishes for getting clean If we’re going down, baby just kiss me I just want your love (I really wish that I could say a prayer right now) I just want your love (I really wish that I could say a prayer right now)

Dog Year 03:22
I stepped out of the shower felt clean for the first time in a dog year in a dog year No trace of your fingers running down my spine cells die and resurrect again into an exoskeleton you haven't kissed not a single inch but It took a dog year it took a dog year to get you off my body get you off my skin I got that tattoo removed the one I only got to prove my faith to you faith to you A flash piece of a crucifix I always knew that it was a sin I bet the artist went to Tisch and had some big plans We did too Oh, we did too but It took a dog year it took a dog year to get you off my body get you off my skin Keys in the ignition I'd look for your light in the kitchen like a moth to the fire Sold my beat up Chevy to someone who won't use your distance to measure the miles August to September you turn a year older I don't even pick up the phone You fucked up my birthday Chipped tooth and a broken bone My body's my own My body's my own but It took a dog year It took a dog year It took a dog year It took a dog year

TV 02:50
Nothing but the TV on Volume up, my mind is numb I light another cigarette I haven’t heard a word from you yet I’ve been all alone for hours I am my mothers child I’ll pour the wine and buy the flowers I’ll do everything by the books Table set Dinner cooked All I need is you to look my way Cause you’ve been gone a long long time I’m drowning in the pale blue light Nothing but the TV on Won’t you come home and turn me on, too Nothing but the TV on I’m scrolling through the infomercials Anything to keep my mind from spinning round and round in circles I’ll be your televangelist I’ll give you all the answers Be your Seinfeld, your friends I’ll keep running forever Baby could you answer this Do I make you feel tethered? Do I? Cause you’ve been gone a long long time I’m drowning in the pale blue light Nothing but the TV on Won’t you come home and turn me on too? (I’m gonna keep waiting and waiting, waiting for you) Nothing but the TV on Won’t you come home and turn me on too? Nothing but the TV on Won’t you come home and turn me on too?

about

LA-based songwriter, musician and producer, Kaycie Satterfield is releasing her debut LP "Rosie" on July 12th (Digital/LP). On the record, she writes: "Rosie is a dog. Rosie is my dog. Rosie is an album. Rosie is a celebration of the passage of time. Being queer is Salvador Dali’s melting timepiece. Being queer is quantum physics, not being able to measure a particle’s speed and location at the same time. Being queer is an internal power struggle. It’s violence, and it’s passion."
