9 months ago, I broke my wrist. Naturally, this kept me from my greatest outlet, playing guitar, during a global pandemic and social unrest and a breakup. I was in something of a major dissociative episode. And then I asked for help, and now I'm not in a major dissociative episode. And this is sort of about that coming back into your body experience. Also, I think I'm going to fully produce it and release it? Wish me luck and let me know what you think...
lyrics
I held you with my gloves on
Kept my words in my throat
Laid down next to your skeleton
Wearing all my winter clothes
What did I do?
Did I make a fool of you?
What did I say?
Did I make you run away?
Hydroplaning
It stopped raining
Like a sucker punch in the gut
Feeling everything at once
I saw the Mona Lisa
Found all her ill intent
Walked the streets of NYC completely numb
Ought to be a cardinal sin
Where did I go?
Did I run off of the road?
Who did I hurt?
Did I leave them in the dirt?
Hydroplaning
It stopped raining
Like a sucker punch in the gut
Feeling everything at once
